Q: Can I pay for my labs with my care credit card?
A: we do not accept Care Credit Card.  We do accept major credit cards and credit cards associated with Health Savings Accounts.  We also take PayPal and you may be able to purchase via PayPal on extended credit terms but you have to check with them at www.PayPal.com 
 
Q. How do I order my own lab tests?
A.  Select your lab test, lab location,  set-up a password and pay for the test on our website:  www.healthonelabs.com. You do not need a doctor's prescription; our licensed physician will write your order. Within two hours during normal business hours, you will receive an email from us indicating your lab form is ready to download. You will print the form and take it with you to the lab. No appointment is necessary at the lab.

At the lab, you will present the Lab Form to the receptionist. You will not need to pay any additional fees. A technician will draw the appropriate blood specimen for the tests you have ordered. If you have ordered a urine test, the technician will provide you with a collection cup & top and direct you to a private lavatory.

HealthOne Labs receives your lab results from the Lab electronically (turnaround time varies and is provided on ordering page for each test we offer). We upload your  lab results to your secure account, and then send you an email so you know they are complete.

Q:  How do I determine the status of my order?
A:      Pending: order received but lab form not ready.
         In Progress: lab form ready.  Results not ready.
         Complete: results uploaded and complete.

Q: Why didn't I get an email that my lab form is ready?
A:   Check your junk or spam mailbox in case our email did not go to your inbox.  Gmail users should also check the new "important" folder.  Also, go to My Profile and make sure your email is accurate.

     Altternatively, login to our website to get your lab form (and results when applicable):

  1. Log in to www.HealthoneLabs.com using the user id and password you established and you will land on your Order History page
  2. Click the eyeball icon under the Details column next to your order. If using a smart phone, scroll right to see the icon.
  3. Scroll down and click on the "Download Lab Requisition File" to obtain your form
  4. The form will open in Adobe Reader, please print this form and take it to the lab. 
Q. How do I make an appointment at the lab?  
A.  All labs take walk-ins but you can visit www.QuestDiagnostics.com/appointment if you wish to make an appointment.

Q. Will I be able to read my laboratory results?
A. The laboratory provides the "Reference Interval" for each test that is reported on your results. The Reference Interval is the normal result. If any of your results are outside of the Reference Interval, the results will also be flagged to help draw your attention to this result. Any abnormal results should be followed-up with a personal physician consult. There are sample results on most of our ordering pages.
 
Q. Will my insurance reimburse me for the cost if I order my own online lab tests?
A. Your health insurance provider will not reimburse you for tests you order through www.healthonelabs.com.  Health insurers require a diagnostic code associated with your lab testing, and we can not legally provide you that because we are not your treating health care provider.  

Q. If more information is needed about my lab test results, whom should I consult?
A. You should consult your personal physician for details on the findings of any online lab tests or blood tests.  You might also want to review the information on the patient centric, non-profit website: www.labtestsonline.org.

Q. How do I determine what online lab test(s) to order?
A. Please review each test profile on this website for details, review www.labtestsonline.org, or, best, consult your physician.
 
Q. If I order multiple blood tests, will I need to have more than one needle stick?
A. No, just one needle stick. It is common to order multiple lab tests off of one blood draw.
 
Q. My credit card indicates multiple charges, but I only placed one order, why?
A. If a transaction is declined due to an AVS Mismatch or other error, the  authorization code and the hold on the authorized funds will remain on the  customer's card until the card issuing bank removes the  authorization. As a result, the held funds may be subtracted from the customer's available balance, and an online statement may show the authorization request, which might be  mistaken for an actual charge. Most card issuing banks will remove authorizations within 3-7 days if they are not claimed for settlement. For a helpful video tutorial regarding AVS, please go to http://www.authorize.net/videos.

Q. My HSA Administrator needs a receipt? Can I obtain one? Login to our website to get your lab form (and results when applicable):

  • Log in to www.HealthoneLabs.com using the user id and password you established and you will land on your Order History page
  • Click the eyeball icon under the Details column next to your order
  • Use your browser's print function to print the page
  • Change the print orientation to "landscape"
  • Use the print function to print a hardcopy or print to PDF for e-submissions.

Q. Why are your services not available in NY, NJ and RI?
A. State laws prohibit us from selling our services to anyone that uses an address in those states.

Q. What is the minimum age to get online blood testing services? 
A. The minimum age is 18 years old.
